The discipline

RECOVER.
THEN REPEAT.

Yoga is the recovery side of fight training. It works on the positions combat sports punish most: tight hips, stiff shoulders, an exhausted lower back and a nervous system that will not switch off.

The class is a complement to the mat, not a replacement for it. Expect controlled movement, longer holds and breathing work that helps you reset between hard sessions.

Who it is for

  • Fighters and grapplers with tight hips and shoulders.
  • Adults who want mobility work alongside hard training.
  • Anyone who sits at a desk all day.
  • Students who need a lower-intensity recovery session.

A session

START TO
FINISH.

Every coach runs a class their own way. This is the general shape of a session — the exact drills, rounds and timing are set on the floor.

01

Arrive and breathe

Settle in with slow breathing and gentle movement.

02

Mobility

Hip, shoulder and spine work that targets the positions combat sports load hardest.

03

Flow and hold

Controlled sequences and longer holds, scaled to your range.

04

Reset

A quiet cool-down and breathing practice to finish.
