Muay Thai / Kickboxing
The art of eight limbs — punches, kicks, knees and elbows, trained on pads and bags.

The discipline
EIGHT LIMBS.
ONE DISCIPLINE.
Muay Thai is Thailand's national combat sport and one of the most complete striking systems in the world. It uses punches, kicks, knees and elbows, which is why it is called the art of eight limbs. At Switch Fitness the class is built for adults who want to learn the real technique, not just hit something until the timer runs out.
Kickboxing shares the same stand-up foundation: stance, footwork, combinations and defence. Sessions move between technique, pad work and conditioning. You will hear the same cues whether you are throwing your first jab or sharpening a fight camp round.
Who it is for

Warm-up
Footwork, skipping, shadow work and mobility to get the hips and shoulders ready to strike.
Technique
A focused block on stance, guard, one strike or a short combination, with coaching on the details.
Pads and partners
Gloves on. You drill the technique with a partner or on pads, then build it into longer combinations.
Conditioning
