The discipline

THE SWEET SCIENCE.

Boxing is the most direct striking art: two hands, two feet and a guard that has to hold up under pressure. It develops timing, footwork and conditioning faster than almost anything else in the gym, and it is one of the best ways to learn to stay calm while someone is trying to hit you.

Switch Fitness runs boxing for beginners through to advanced students. Classes are high-energy, but technique comes before output. You will learn to sit down on your punches instead of swinging wild.

Who it is for

  • Adults starting from scratch.
  • Experienced boxers who want rounds and coaching.
  • People who want a high-energy workout with a skill attached.
  • Strikers sharpening their hands for MMA or Muay Thai.
